An interdisciplinary art residency in San Luis de Morete - Costa Rica, located on the border between Osa and Perez Zeledon. We are 30 minutes above the Pacific ocean, sitting between 800-900m & 2,600-3,000ft in elevation. Our residency is housed on a former coffee plantation that we have extensively reforested. Fruit trees have been planted and we have built a greenhouse to accomodate residents with food grown on the property.

The warehouse art studio we are creating, due to finish in July of 2025, features  high ceilings, abundant roof overhang, skylights, and modular walls for studio accomodation. The steady supply of temperate air, given our mountainous location, makes for a very comfortable place to create in.

Our housing will be provided within the community of San Luis, the town in which Cordillera de las Artes is located, a small and mostly local community of roughly 50-60 inhabitants. 

In July, 2025 we will begin offering residencies, and facilities, for artists in:

• Ceramics
• Film + Photography
• Writing
• Horticulture
